The Outeniqua Hiking Trail
DAY 8 - FISANTHOEK HUT TO HARKERVILLE HUT
Distance: Approximately 12 kilometers.

The final day is relaxing and almost entirely through the forest. No real challenges, so walk on and enjoy your final day on the trail.
Be careful crossing the National Road.
This is the final hut on the trail and the end point of the Outeniqua Trail. Some hikers like to spend the night, so they can spend one last evening with their fellow hikers. Others go on to hike the 2 day Harkerville Trail which shares this hut as its starting point.
Tips for Day 8:
- Have mosquito repellent handy.
- Enjoy the evening round the fire with your fellow hikers for the final night.
